  • We are regulars here and the kids recognize most of what appears on signs, etc, but we still always something new to discover at each visit. Knowledgeable and dedicated staff who are happy to share their knowledge to children and adults. For small children there is also a small Indoor playground that is a popular hangout as a pause in fish/jellyfish/crab-viewership. Perfect activity on a rainy day, which, however, it sometimes is many who come on especially in the middle of summer ...

  • My wife and I was there on a visit. A very nice aquarium with a large number of fish species, is worth a visit.

  • At the ocean House is everything that exists in the ocean outside of Lysekil. all kinds of fish, from cod to mackerel and dogfish. For children there is low aquariums where you can see and pet crabs feel at a eye manet and much more. In a large pool swims rays that are so curious so that they come as close as they can, and "Looking" out of the water. When you get hungry, there is a restaurant p upstairs really worth a visit

  • Good place to learn about fishes and other creatures in Scandinavian Waters. It is a fairly small place and it can get very crowded at times, but it is well worth a visit. There is an attractive cafe and restaurant adjacent to Havets hus with nice views over the bay.
  • A nice little aquarium with hands on activities for the kids. The restaurant is a must, beautiful views and terrific food.
  • Every single part of that island is worth visiting.
  • Visited the bistro and ordered their seafood soup with garlic bread and aioli, which I would guess was their signature dish. However, the soup was översaltad and the bread from the dull part of the bake off-scale. Even though I know that Ocean House is a tourist magnet so I had much higher expectations than this.

  • Perfectly ok. The kids like it. is Swedish fish. We got to see shark-eggs. Lobster and you can pat on the smaller marine friends. Can see where the animals are fed. You can go on a seal safari (costs extra) va relatively expensive if you compare it with similar purposes.
