  • Small, but decent, nice, museum with fine collections of local finds from the stone age onwards. For those who are interested in kyrkoreliker there is a lot of taxes, but otherwise, the experience feel a bit paltry. Information about the individual items could have been better (e.g. by using the audio guide). Getting around with the stroller went ok, but was a bit awkward in General, and especially so at the transition to the Cathedral Museum.

  • The Museum is located in the Centre of Lund, near the University. You need to come from the fact that the brevity and modesty are distinctive features of the Swedes, and the same small town. It would be nice if more information in English was. But nevertheless very interesting Museum. A very curious collection of paintings and engravings. The exposition of high quality stone axes, gives a good idea about the technology. very interesting collection of wooden religious sculptures. Also very full well disclosed an exhibition dedicated to the Cathedral. Preljubopytnye private collections of the 18th century. Represent a collection of curiosities from around the world and a collection of artifacts from Egyptian graves. Otlichnejshaja coin collection, navezennyh Vikings from all over the world. There are even from Samarkand. If you stuck in Lund, then I recommend heartily.

  • The historical Museum in Lund incl Domkyrkomuséet is for any history buffs particularly exciting. In the Museum there is Skåne's oldest history, but also the University's Cabinet of with things that in the 16th and 18th centuries it was considered remarkable, such as the sword from a sawfish, a pair of Chinese mandarintofflor, a hat made of human skin! In the Auditorium, there is the whole altar sets from such as the Franciscan monastery in Ystad (honestly, however, purchased by the Museum). In the Cathedral Museum you can see how the cathedral seen through the ages and the clothes bishops and priests used.

  • Great museum with lots of historical (and pre-historical) artifacts. Great for kids, especially on Sundays when the museum arranges things for the kids! Its placed in one of the more beautiful parts of Lund, close to the big church and some of the older university buildings.
  • I wish I had been more impressed with the Historiska Museet, but I just wasn't. The whole place was a little dark, the displayed slanted a bit religious for my taste, and the price was steep for non-students (given the size and scope of the museum). Maybe I missed something, but I don't believe I did. With that said, it's something to do in a town that has only so many things to do. I would just rank it very lowly among Lund's attractions; but if you have a lot of time in Lund, go for it.
  • Bigger that it looks and a lot of good things inside.
  • Place a must see in Lund. Will take you back to the age old Swedish times.
  • Awesome!!
