(4.6/5 based on 340 reviews on the web)
Sprawling over 20 acres, Botanical Gardens showcases 7,000 colorful species of plants. Two hundred plants reside in greenhouses customized to nine different climate zones. The garden was built in 1690 on the site of Lund University, but was moved to its current location in 1862 after outgrowing its original spot. In 1974 the garden was named a national landmark, and today it continues its legacy as a teaching tool in botany, gardening, and ecology. • WE had a lovely walk through this free botanical garden while exploring Lund on a warm September day. Many plants and flowers were still in bloom and beautiful. Much larger than I thought. Great spot ...  more »
  • I have no idea why botanical gardens are so special. I have been there twice but nothing really surprised me.
  • You have to go there and see for yourself! Picturesque location, full of wonderful flowers, krzewow and trees. All scheduled very nicely and stylishly. Restocked ponds. Perfect place for a walk with the family.

  • Stunning area of greenery in an already very green city. Great place to have a picknick or just walk about, looking at students having fun. Nice selection of plants and herbs to investigate. There is a nice café next to the large central pond which serves nice coffee.
  • Nice variety of plants, well kept paths, but... No kids activity, except for a single tree that was chucked down and left there to use as a climbing tool. Quite dangerous. Cafe hours are quite limited, and the greenhouse closes at 15:00. Plan to come in the morning.
  • This park has everything a person needs; it has beautiful flowers and trees, seasonal produce to look at and show your kids, running and walking paths and a great little cafe in the summer. A beautiful space in the center of Lund.
  • Fantastisk område at gå rundt i
  • Pretty cracking Botanical garden! Definitely check it out if you're in Lund. Gets a bit dull in the winter because all the flowers are sleeping underground but there are still some pretty statues and buildings to gawp at.
