  • Very pleasant assembly of old buildings. Great atmosphere! Like taking a trip in a time machine. Well worth a visit and a stroll. Peek into the shops and have a coffee somewhere.
  • I went to visit the site on a cold day in January, silent place in winter. I heard that in the spring has more attractions there and I hope to return. You can see squirrels running amid the trees.

  • Visited the cozy, old Linköping in december. The Christmas market had been the week before, which meant that there was quite a bit of people. Easy to get around on the small streets. No crowds in the shops that were open. Missing the Christmas market and the mood that is then. One tip is to find out what date the market is if you want to experience the Christmas spirit in december.

  • Old heritage. For me, interesting part was knowing some history and visiting inside of one of the buildings with guide which contained some historical stuff. Didn't amazed me much, may be the reason is I have seen more interesting places than this. Some of my friends liked it very a lot.
  • Part of the old city of Linkoping was moved in its entirety to a hill close by and converted in a small open air museum with cobbled streets and actors bringing the past to life. Very nicely done with a historic bank and policestation but also and old fashioned candy store, a store that sells handmade soap and body care products and a children's book store. Entry is completely free. Fun for kids
  • I live just next to Old Linköping Open Air museum and I never grow tired of it. The tiny red houses still inhabited by usual people, the museums, the small souvenir shops and cafés, the 1930ies atmosphere preserved through consistent use of plants, the forest beyond... Definitely worth a visit!
  • A direct jump into swedish history, very well preserved old city and amazingly used to create a perfect atmosphere for one day. Staff is veey kind and Welcoming.
  • Cute houses & calm & friendly staff at the little shop. The houses in Linköpings old town are authentic, & had been moved from different locations in the city. Good for families, visitors, strollers & everyone else really.
