We walked around the estate and garden before doing the house tour at 2pm. At the moment the guided tour is in Swedish only but they run one in English later in the summer. We were given an info sheet... more »
I had so much fun at the Christmas market where I exhibited our products. Everyone was friendly, both staff and colleagues. It was a nice experience, very fine structure and good arrangement more »
One of few places in Gothenburg area where you can view and experience history. Guided tours are excellent. more »
It was beautiful. We went on a Sunday, I wish we would have checked the oppen times for a Sunday. Everything was closed, but our intention was to take the dog for a walk and weren't that disappointed. Fabulous walk around the grounds. Will definitely come back for a tour and maybe for one of their famous tea afternoons!
I was at "barnens dag", an event for children and was therefore never inside the castle. The surroundings though was very beautiful, and as for the event it was quite good, lots of food, snack, playgrounds and rollercoasters but after a few hours it became too crowded.

Difficult to reach with public transport, but definitely worth it. Loved both the tour inside of the castle, as well as the gardens and the view over the ocean outside.
A beautiful place, with wonderful views, though it is a shame that a lot of it is covered and is currently under repair.
A piece of Blighty, on the Swedish West coast. Well worth a visit to explore the grounds or take a tour around the Tudor house. Until October '17 there's also a number of costumes from Downton Abbey exhibited around the house.
