  • Exciting experience which should be done with a guide known as the tombs of the Kings but has proven to be a sacrificial site from the bronze age for young boys!

  • At the tombs of the Kings, there is a parking lot for visitors and "a million" rocks as cover of the grave! As an interesting place to visit, it is possible to discuss, for or against.

  • There is not much to see inside the Tomb. On the other hand, a beautiful rock formation on the outside. For the interested, however, a nice place to visit.

  • A small place with the famous King's grave from the bronze age. You can easily see it all in 30 minutes. A place to learn about bronze age burial traditions. However, no artifacts left, only rocks. Don't miss the quaint little cafe by the dam and creek next to the burial mound.
  • Not that interesting as I thought. Have a look for the QR Code (only Swedish, you have to translate the text) to learn a little bit more.
  • One of best place in South Sveden!

  • Tombs of the Kings in Kivik. 1748 bumped two farmers in a stone coffin in a mound just outside. In the hope of finding a treasure they dug all night, and still, nobody knows what they found. The beacon was a powerful grave from the bronze age which is now reconstructed and equipped with a walking into the burial chamber. Tombs of the Kings, with its 75 m in diameter, the largest known round the Tomb in Sweden and one of the most visited sights of Österlen. On stone slabs there are carved figures depicting, among other things, people, and animals. The characters ' setting is special and separates the Tomb from other grave images from this time. More recent research on ancient bronze age petroglyphs connects the symbols to the traveler from the high cultures of the Mediterranean.
