  • Mariebergsskogen is one of them where the beads as it is easy to miss when visiting a city. Here is everything you could wish for from children up to senior. Great playgrounds, a lot of animals to look at, and a visitors center. In addition, there is a good swimming area for smaller children when it's levels. The only thing that is a little negative, which is why I didn't give this a 5 score is that the hours are a little stingy when it comes to when they open. As a family with small children, we had like to way that opened at 9 a.m. instead of 11 as regards restaurants etc. the whole Park is very well maintained and kept clean and tidy. It shows that you take care of it in a good way. The overall impression is that this is a must to visit, whether you just want to relax in the grass or have fun on the playground.

  • Truly a great park near the city center. Playgrounds for the children, an open-air museum, a stroll in the (small) forest. A place to calm down.
  • Perfect for kids, having a quiet stroll, learning about Värmland of old and/or just enjoying the forest.
  • My grandchildren's favourite park in Karlstad!
  • Great park for a walk or just a cup of coffee.
  • Really nice place for all family members. Gotta check out the water buses!
