  • The second floor reserved for children is exclusively written in Swedish and the proposed activities are meager. We expect a reconstruction of the ship and it is that very spotty. However, some interesting pieces found in the ship.

  • There is much to see and many interesting stories to share. Is clearly worth a visit if you are in Kalmar.

  • Much of the Museum is dedicated to the Kronan, the flagship of war in 1676 with over 800 men in nearby waters. You can not compare with the exposure of the Vasa in Stockholm, but this was bigger and just referred to. The others are exposociones about local art and the second world war.

  • World class exhibition about findings from the 400 old wreckage of the ship. Excellent restaurant with harbour view.

  • Not the "flashigaste" Museum, but well worth a visit, both as a tourist and Kalmarit! Nice rooms. Nicest staff. High level of the historical content. Don't miss out on the Crown. A unique exhibition, over a bargain which is among marine history, and 1600-talshistoriens, main findings. A time capsule sunk to the ocean floor.

  • Orderly museum with great exhibits and tours. Very easy to find by car, even without gps.
