  • Who cares for mountains and the vibrant culture of the Sami for the Ájtte is a must. It is not a dusty Archivierunsort objects. The exhibits are a lively insight into the mutual connection of old Sápmi with his seed in her bridge to ethno-cultural, environmental and spiritual contexts. Is the Ájtte Museum didactic sure a highlight as a meeting place. And that respect, Achtsamket and solidarity with both the boreal land and wildlife, but also against the Sami and your concerns.

  • Nice museum of arctic culture, you can see that it was prepared by people who are part of this culture. I was only missing better international guidance, at least subtitles in English.
  • Fina utställningar! God mat.
  • Great museum of Laponia and Sami.

  • If you want an experience in Jokkmokk that is enough Ájtte the closest you can get. Fun and exciting exhibitions for both children and adults. Audio-Visual stories and play-and-learn for kids. When you walked around and looked at the amounts of things that are detected, they have their own restaurant. Where can you get you a taste sensation inspired by Sami kitchen. However, those little "sub-zero" because the food usually have non-genuine ingredients but merely "inspired" by the Sami culture.

  • Beautifully constructed, comprehensive exhibition, which gives a very good insight into the way of life of the Sami. Absolutely worth seeing. Here and there I would have pleased explanations in English or even german.
