Very fun to see all the animals because it stands on wooden piers around almost the whole zoo. The school had booked a try out to be animal carers experience in which students had to feed the Wolverines and giant Otter as well as fix the Tigers enclosures, super talented and professional staff.

Bohuslän is by far not only harbour romance. A trip to North Ark was recommended in a brochure of the area and rightly so. The price of admission is not to look at in relation to a 08/15 Zoo ticket. You experience an impressive complex there, integrated perfectly into the beautiful landscape, with plenty of room for the dogs in enclosures, so extensive that it is an experience, to watch the animals and once finding. On a unique circular route (partly from increased wood paths) it passes through the different areas and there will be no second boring. As well as beautiful majestic Tigers, lurking Leopard, a whole pack of wolves, the cheerful otters, red pandas and many more species? Even the amphibians have a range of beautifully designed, as I've seen no comparable. We went once and then a second time the route through North Ark to some animals, the admission price is finally not confined to a number of hours and during the opening hours is so much to experience it and see - also on a second and third visit there would be to discover certainly still new things. So don't go - bring plenty of time, a camera and open eyes and enjoy the wilderness of West Sweden!

Was here with the family quite a nice summer day. Nature was nice and there were many interesting animals to see., however, many hid so it was good to see a speck of a leopard or other animals. Many others, however, went to see. Expensive entry and expensive food but no big difference to other similar places.

  • Unbelievably amazing in the early spring weather. All the cat animals are sunbathing and viable. The leafs are not yet blooming so viability is great. Nordens ark is a must visit if you're in the area
  • Grate zoo (park). I don't rly like zoo's but this one is fine. Animals have nice places to roam. It looks natural.
  • A bit pricey but for a good cause. Knowledgeable staff but long queues to both the Wolf cabin (food area) and entrance.
  • Really nice place to go with the kids
  • What a great zoo! Bit expensive but worth every penny! The animals have plenty of room to move about and are really great and special to see.
