  • Our family has visited the Nordens Ark regularly since it opened in 1989. The plant has grown and animals are rare (EC endangered). There is a loop in the scenery and observe interesting animals. When I am there alone so it takes about three hours. Spared when the stress from the rest of the family who want to Lynx, Tiger, etc. In the area sold quality hamburgers made with Prime Rib, etc.

  • We passed this zoo on the way to Smogen and decided to spend a day here. We were glad we did as it is a wonderful zoo/park and we had a really nice time pottering around. The site is quite large so ma...  more »
  • My family is really very skeptical about zoos but Nordens Ark is something completely out of the ordinary. The Ark is run by a non-profit foundation and by the whole business, the strong desire to do good for wildlife and nature. Our visit gave several insights into what we all can do (or avoid) to conserve the diversity of our planet. Highly recommended to pre-book an "Impressive" when coupled with any of the Park's true enthusiasts may visit the production plant and get up close to some of the amazing animals that live here!

  • One of my favorite place when visiting Bohuslän. Have been there twice, although the entrace fee is a little on the higher side but it is worth every penny specially if you have children they would lve the place. Many endangered species are kept here and taken good care of. The place is very big and you can spend the entire day here.
  • Lovely park and area, great veiws of the large cats and brilliant farmyard for an interactive experience. The kids love going there!
  • We used 3.5 hour to see most of the park. Walked more than 5 km, many on raised walkways giving excellent view of the enclosures. The highlight of the walk was the wolves. They have six and we got a along good view of 4vof them.
  • What a great zoo! Bit expensive but worth every penny! The animals have plenty of room to move about and are really great and special to see.
  • Great service! They made the only vegetarian option vegan without hesitation. Good servings and very tasty.
