Skånes Djurpark (English: Zoo of Scania) is a Swedish zoological park located in Höör Municipality, Skåne County. It specializes in animals of the Nordic fauna, although orphaned animals from elsewhere in the world are sometimes temporarily housed there until a new home can be found for them. The zoo has about 900 animals, representing almost 100 species. These animals are most often kept in large enclosures with natural environments. Some of the domestic animals displayed include: Skånegås (Scania goose, a type of domestic goose), Gute sheep, Fjäll cattle, and Jämtlandsget (Jämtland goat, a type of domestic goat).

  • Great place for a day out. The zoo is not very big but the animals have lots of space, there are many activities for children and grown ups (including goat yoga!). Food was tasty and not at all expensive. Great staff, specially the couple selling ice cream. They went above and beyond for us, even checking bus timetable for us!
  • Lovely park to spend a whole day with the family. All kind of wild animals like e.g. Elks, bears, foxes, wild pigs, but also all kind of farm animals are located in mostly immense large areas. On top lots of attractions for younger kids: driving a tractor through a Shaun the Sheep area, walking a high path among the top of the trees; watter plays, feeding animals - all this made this park a outstanding family adventure. Absulutely worth the entrance fee.
  • Far between and few animals to be seen. Not many places to warm up when cold. Far between and few food places. Icecream sold during winter when in need of warm food. Crazy expensive entrance fee for an average experience.
  • Great park, good opportunities for smaller children all o er. A bit sparse on eating options, mostly geared towards kids. A bit pricey but all in all enjoyable.
  • Great outdoor place to walk around and enjiy and there is loads to see. I would definitely recommend this place if you're close by. Great family fun
