Zoo / Aquarium Nature / Park
Get close to exotic animals from all over the world at , the city's indoor zoo. All of its inhabitants are housed in carefully recreated natural environments that are designed to provide you with an interactive experience. Don't be surprised if you come face to face with a curious lemur, or if a bat flies right over your head. Test your bravery and try petting a shark or holding a snake or a crocodile. The keepers provide guided tours. There is also a cafe with a view of the animal habitats. The facilities are wheelchair-accessible, but there are some steep slopes and narrow paths where assistance might come in handy. • Very well maintained and really creative with the space they have got. We went there with zero expectations, but were quite surprised to see so well organized setup.
  • Cosy, well planned, very interesting! Nice cafeteria with great neighborhood:) Easy accessible by bus from the train station. Will definitely come again!
  • I go here once a year with my wife and kids. Everytime is a pleasant surprise. This year they had an entirely new section called Freaks of Nature that was brilliant. Small place but with a great selection and you get to get close to the animals.
  • I come here once a year with my son, Always a nice experience.
  • Great set up and interesting animals and exhibits. Food is also reasonably priced! Had a great time :)

Where to stay in Helsingborg

Unlike many Swedish cities, this harborfront town offers abundant bed and breakfasts and guesthouses. In this pedestrian-dominated city, most travelers prefer to be closer to the city core for convenience and access to the long paths along the shore. A number of reasonably priced, mid-market hotels line the main street. There are also a couple hostels. Note that it is customary to pay an extra charge for linens and towels at Swedish hostels.
