An amazing collection of all fairytale characters, lego, playmobil, star wars, Smurfs, Barbie, yes everything you can think of the toy route. Very nicely arranged in glass display cases with buttons that started the train and other things. Also able to play. Paradise for children!

60sek per person to see a small room with toys, total waste of money. Poor ventilation and mostly playmobile toys. Just not worth the time or money. 10sek would be ok....not 60!  more »

Their starwars exhibit is amazing. The visit makes you maybe just once. Fun places to visit for a family if you are interested in old toys.

  • Ok place. Not so great
  • Go back to memory lane, and have a look at the Playmobil you played with as child. And other toys... Super friendly staff :-)
  • Here I went a long way to visit this so-called toy museum and what a disappointment it was! Almost all of the exhibition consisted of only playmobil (and then, the Museum is very small to begin with). Where is everything else you would expect to see? Transformers, turtles, pogs, tamagochi, alf, Nintendo, where are they? They had barbie as my partner thought it was fun to watch. But it was so few. There was a little lego to look at but it was new lego, same as we buy for our little one at home! Who would have to pay to see the same crap which is free to watch in the nearest BR shop! Then came the man into a small dark room with skräckgrejor. What this has to do with a toy museum takes I do not. Fit more on a haunted house, I think, and Moreover, everything in there to buy from hobbex. Finally, we had the shop that was one big joke! Three old star wars figures, a worn old barbie car, as well as two lukewarm drinks stood on the shelf. What the hell??!! Do yourselves a favor and don't go here this place stinks worse than my old socks.

  • Our family visited this so-called museum for a while ago. We found a small commercial online & where it looked very promising. But when we arrive, so is the entry for this museum is a disgrace to them has nothing to offer! The exhibition consisted almost exclusively of Playmobil. After seeing a booth with this so it felt like we had seen everything. We had expected to see older toys, not such a crap you can buy today in the freaking toy store! If it calls itself a museum so one can always have a little wider range, everything from old toys and forward during each decade. Our kids wanted to home almost instantly! We saw this now on other people's reviews to the owner entered & given comebacks as they also gave poor grades. But we just want to add that if more families complaining of the same thing so maybe it is your museum it is wrong!

  • Toy World a world of magic, fantasy and nostalgia! Toy World is a toy museum for both children and adults. Here you will encounter a world of interactive toy exhibits, children's playroom, cool arcade games, spökrum and fun activities! Toy World is neither a playground or a traditional toy history, but a modern museum experience with toys. It is the only of its kind with its mix of miniland, and monterutställningar. Unique both with what is on display and on the way it is done. There is a passion for toys, but most of all to build stories and spread joy. Experience the 400 sqm with thousands of toys from the 1960s to the present, train and car racing sets, music, sound, light and motion effects (which you can activate by key press). Are you looking for a second on each toy, it will take several hours! Therefore, take your time, so you do not miss any clever details.

Where to stay in Helsingborg

Unlike many Swedish cities, this harborfront town offers abundant bed and breakfasts and guesthouses. In this pedestrian-dominated city, most travelers prefer to be closer to the city core for convenience and access to the long paths along the shore. A number of reasonably priced, mid-market hotels line the main street. There are also a couple hostels. Note that it is customary to pay an extra charge for linens and towels at Swedish hostels.
