  • We were 4 friends who visited the castle for a lovely stay. We took a package that included a 3-course dinner and accommodation with breakfast. We booked a 2 room suite because we wanted to sleep together. The room was just so lovely slottlikt and rustic as I had expected-drab colors and medaljongtapeter. Since the room is made for 2 people so we had been there 2 extra tent beds. Unfortunately, we learned after a sleepless night of tent beds were meant for children – they were not okay as an adult to sleep on in spite of the fact that we both tent meadow Dormouse is quite okräsna. But it responded to us very friendly and professional and gave us financial kompession for pain and suffering, but we would have liked to have been warned before then we maybe decided two separate hotel rooms with real beds. Dinner then. I got the feeling that the kitchen had quite high ambition when we were reading the menu-I thought the food was okay, but not lived up to expectations. Why not just a piece of meat and Béarnaise sauce? Or fish with a good hollandaise? However, I will be back for a weekend where they often can offer good prices, but then I will book so that I may sleep in a real bed.

  • Even though we had booked a table for afternoon tea, we were shown to a small table with exceptionally low chairs-in stairwell (IE outside the restaurant!). Because both my husband and I are long and not interested in sitting in a cold stair hall became, in the end, we turned to a small table in the inner part. Table with two chairs have been placed where it has been possible to squeeze into a pair of chairs. Larger groups are more likely to get nicer location. Hundallergiker assess its problems. Dogs are welcome in all areas. The company closest to us had a medium sized dog with him and the dog got a better seat to sit on than what we got. The Chair was also the cloth (do not envy the person who will sit on the next). The dog was fitted with both water and food bowl and the waitress asked politely if the bowls would stand on the table or on the floor! Moreover, it was served well and the staff were friendly but it was not worth 320 SEK/person.

  • I have been here in the Castle several times for different objectives. This time for a business lunch, which was delicious! really good service minded staff.

  • We enjoyed the visit and the beautiful location. The room was nice and the food in the restaurant was quite good. However, the service was amateurish and parts of the hotel need renovation. Management seems to be absent. It is positive that dogs are allowed which was appreciated since we own one. Perhaps a bit expensive for what you get.
  • I wouldn't go there again. Great beautiful surroundings, poor service, lack of English speaking personnel. Ok food. A bit pricey for what you get. The palace didn't seem to be looked after. Lack of English information in the room. TV picture distorted. Comfortable beds. The staff seemed to be confused and gave conflicting information. Conclusion, amateurish management is a let down for this beautiful place.
  • Loved the atmosphere, and very friendly service. The castle itself could need some remodelling, but it's cool with the large pool outside.
  • We booked a table for an afternoon tea.the small aandwiches and sweets was fantastic and it was worth the money
  • Nice place summertime. Family- and pet friendly
