Stop by the cafe for traditional Swedish waffles with whipped cream and jam to end your authentic maritime experience. Very interesting and informative site. Also for smaller children. It was fun to explore all the ships and climb down into the submarine. Perfect destination if you're going to be a couple of days in Gothenburg. Nice and quick staff who work on the associated eatery. Good parking facilities nearby. We were very pleased with the visit there.

It is not often that we can come and meet particular military ships or a submarine. In this open-air museum we can visit several ships. Excellent program for children and adults. One more great idea.

The Museum is completely outdoors and consists of many different ships that can be visited. Here 3 hours can easily spend. Small downside: Unfortunately, many information only in Swedish is - as in many museums in Sweden -. However, there is an app with audio-guide in German and English, which you can listen to a guide. Suitable for small children may be limited because many stairs and steps up and down across from the ships.

  • Awesome, just don't go on a cold day.
  • Old warships, including a submarine. Well worth a visit if you like this kind of thing.
  • Very unique experience for me being from Canada considering I live on the water. The submarine and destroyer are well worth the price of admission. The other boats were ok.
  • They have some really nice old boats that you can visit. The submarine is popular!
  • Somewhat pricey for one-time visitors, but otherwise cheap as the ticket provided is valid for one year. A unique chance to see submarines, battleships and more from the inside, covering everything from machine rooms to the commander's bridge.
