Liseberg, Gothenburg

4.4
#1 of 102 in Shopping in Sweden
Experience a range of excitement, from thrill rides to live events and holiday markets, at Liseberg, one of the most popular amusement parks in Scandinavia. This park is home to the Balder, a famous wooden-tracked roller coaster, as well as arcade games, a haunted hotel, and lots of other rides, including two water rides. Young children will want to try the kiddie rides, like the tea cups, bumper cars, and dragon boats. If you're looking for something more relaxing, enjoy quiet gardens, take in a show or concert, or, if the season's right, visit the park's Christmas market. Use our Gothenburg trip itinerary planner to add Liseberg and other attractions to your Gothenburg vacation plans.

Great place to visit with the family. Lots of attractions and activities. My favorite BALDER. A whole day at Liseberg amusement park can be a bit:) Many different restaurants to choose from, to suit your taste.

We went in the middle of summer and it was busy, but not too bad. There are plenty of rides for little children, ours is 3 and was there all day without going on some rides twice because there are so ...  more »

Visited the park for a full day on the day of Culture Festival started (16th). Clearly much less people now so the kids with their Little ride pass could go most of the time and some attractions again without having to queue up away lot of time. The whole family was very happy with the visit.

Very nice park with many attractions and not so busy. Most games are 10-30 min waiting time. Parking is moderately priced at around 80 SEK for the whole day. Good for adults and children. Food is reasonably priced as well. Worth visiting with the family and all attractions can be covered in one day easily.

So much fun and happy people. The rides are diverse and creative. There are plenty of places to eat, use the toilet and spend money. Helix is a rush. The other new ones I've not yet tried, but go on a weekday or a cloudy weekend to avoid standing in queue instead of enjoying the rides.

Fantastic theme park. Great rides for young kids right through to seasoned parkers. Brilliant. Me and my 15? Year old had a great night out.

A complete fun with full of entertainment for everyone. Got my unlimited ride pass and enjoyed each n ever ride of Liseberg. Fish and chips was Okay and there is not much good food options available inside so better plan accordingly.

Still good and renewed. Fun for adults also. Good pricing is fair, they do not break your back when a family is going to eat.
