One of Europe's top botanical gardens, Botanical Garden includes a renowned rock garden. This oasis of plant life was inaugurated in 1923 during the city of Gothenburg's 300th anniversary. At about 175 hectares (430 acres), it is one of the largest gardens on the continent and makes up much of Anggarden, a Swedish nature reserve with an arboretum.   • Just as great to visit in spring and see all wake up after their winter sleep, like going here in the summer in a sea of flowers. Also in the fall with all its colours is enjoyable.

  • Do you have a chance to take you to Botan, do it! It is so beautiful now. Several rhododendron blooming already. Magnolian just keep on hitting. The next few weeks will be magical! Botan must be among the most beautiful parks in Europe!
