  • Here you get a view of the whole of the high Coast area! Very beautiful. You can bring your own picnic or purchase of top cottages. If you want you can climb up from the visitors center, take the stairs (which is very steep) or cable car. The cable car is recommended if you are a little motionless or have small children. It's a pretty tough climbing up the stairs, even if down was worse. Comfortable clothing is recommended. The cave was more of a "pit" in the mountain and a bit overrated, maybe. Nice outing for the family!

  • We went first to the lift up to the Skule mountain top since we went down again and took the road up to the caves. We brought our 4 and 5 year old and they did a struggling effort to get all the way up there! But it was well worth the effort, however, a little scarier to go down when it was wet and a little slippery.

  • Great place, amazing view on Costa Alta (Hoga Kusten) UNESCO World Heritage site. In summer you can take the chair lift or on foot for at least 4 ways. Two leave from the nearby Naturum and are very steep, one of these is a "via ferrata". A third road starts from Naturum and then goes to join a fourth traveling from the nearby camping area. The most beautiful and convenient, in my opinion, is one that starts from the same place where the chairlift. If you want you can walk up and down on the Chair or vice versa. At the top there is also a bar-restaurant. Not to be missed!
