Visited Råshult in september after the regular season, so café, shop and House were closed. The cultural reserve with gardens and surroundings, however, is always open to visit. Voluntary entry of 20 Crowns, can pay with Swish. Incredibly idyllic and beautiful area, great gardens, beautiful old houses and lovely meadows, deciduous forests and fences. Well marked walking trails around meadows, Woods and pastures. The cultural reserve shows how the landscape looked at 1700-century in Linnaeus ' time and it felt just like to travel back in time. I will gladly go back next summer for a guided tour to learn more about Linnaeus. Very beautiful destinations I can recommend to visit outside of the summer season.show original

An incredible idyll where one of the world's most famous Swedes grew up and found their role in nature. A "Linnaeus" who talked about his life in a very engaging and professional way. Highly recommended!show original
