  • Only ten minutes ' drive north of IKEA in Älmhult, I found Linnés Råshult. Visited Råshult in september after the regular season, so café, shop and House were closed. The cultural reserve with gardens and surroundings, however, is always open to visit. Voluntary entry of 20 Crowns, can pay with Swish. Incredibly idyllic and beautiful area, great gardens, beautiful old houses and lovely meadows, deciduous forests and fences. Well marked walking trails around meadows, Woods and pastures. The cultural reserve shows how the landscape looked at 1700-century in Linnaeus ' time and it felt just like to travel back in time. I will gladly go back next summer for a guided tour to learn more about Linnaeus. Very beautiful destinations I can recommend to visit outside of the summer season.

  • Beautiful plant to the walk. Diverse world of flower. 2 small homes as home muses with old furniture, crockery, clothing and much more. Cosy café with delicious cake. Cake pieces between 18 40 crowns. Coffee to the refill for 25 crowns. Water free of charge.

  • A real gem in the småland landscape. An incredible idyll where one of the world's most famous Swedes grew up and found their role in nature. A "Linnaeus" who talked about his life in a very engaging and professional way. Highly recommended!

  • Found a real piece of paradise here. It's fun to see the gardens and cottages and restaurant on the premises offers a simple but very good buffet.

  • Lunch buffet this year was not good. Last year's was much better with more range and better mixes.

  • Carl von Linnés birth place. The Cafe gets the highest grades right through! Whether you are looking for a beautiful place to ramble on, want to grab a cup of coffee with a delicious cake to or if you want to eat a full lunch buffet, this is the place for you. Lunch buffet includes organic produce essentially sought from the cafe's own garden. Fresh and tasty!

  • Can not complain on either food or the site. But there were a lot of people and hard to find seating.
