  • A particular more with many birds such as Red Ibis, snip and various Eagles. The Green Islands and artistic dead trees sticking out of the water make it a photogenic landscape. We recommend a night at Stephanie's Lodge. Right on the water with a number of rooms and simple facilities. So you have more time and you can also just before sunset and in the morning with a little boat on the Lake to see more birds there is the possibility of caimans spotting and a mud bath at the ocean. Can be booked at Stephanie's itself or through various travel agents. Transport by boat to the lodge, meals and drinks. Take clothes that dirt may be, swimwear, long sleeves and mosquito for evening. During the day it can be crowded with day trippers, especially at weekends, and in the high season as all rooms are full, I think also called pressure since the lodge but a small area.

  • One night in March 2016 there in a nice cottage on the Lake. Evening bird watching ... red and white Ibisses etc.. came in large numbers over the Lake flies great spectacle. Delicious eaten and slept. 2nd day Flamingos spotting beautiful surroundings and thousands of Flamingos. impressive.. Was there with wife and daughter, our guide Venski and Eddie Cook. The man who brought us everywhere with the boat was also the owner of the cottage lot and on a humoristiche way knew about the birds and the surrounding area to tell ... enjoyed it!! It was short but wonderful to experience
