  • Beautiful secluded beach. Shore is a bit rocky, which can be dangerous if the surf is rough; but other than that, it's a great beach. The entrance is hidden; there's a security booth to a gated commun...  more »
  • The judgment is certainly influenced by the fact that when we were there the sea was choppy. To reach this beach, take the road from Princess Juliana Airport via Marigot Nettle Bay. Shortly after Baie Rouge on the right there is a gate with a gatehouse with bars (this is a privately owned) and the keeper needs to say you intend to go to Plum Bay; It runs along the paved road that cuts the Terres Basses and you reach a small parking lot where you leave your vehicle. The beach is semi-circular, but is not very wide and short supply palms (there is no equipment). With the sea a little choppy it is impossible even to bathe because there are many rocks.

  • If you are looking for a quiet beach in St Maarten is the beach. Access to this beach is by the Terres Basses security checkpoint, the guard you well explained how to get to the beach. The water is pretty crystal clear and if they are well to the right you can snorkel and see several types of fish. We were in season to the ta and in total had 3 couples in the entire beach, very quiet indeed. Tip: If you can, wear shoes to enter the water because there are several rocks at the entrance. If you plan to spend all day, wear conservative with soft drink a and something to eat because there is no service. There are some shade, but if you want to be comfortable carry umbrella also. Finally, even though it is a secluded beach you can't nudity but if we saw women topless.
