Good for snorkeling or swimming, Mullet Bay features a crescent-shaped bay with rocky beach areas on the east and west ends and soft, white sand in between. Rest in the ample shade, or swim to the rocky areas at the end of the beach and observe tropical fish while snorkeling. You can sample local food and drink at bars toward one end, or watch the occasional surfer ride the waves. Consider sticking around until sunset for a memorable view. • Our cruise made a stop in St. Maarten. This island is divided into the French side to the North and the Dutch to the South. However, English is spoken throughout the island. This beach is located 30 minutes from the cruise port. The color of the sea and its soft sand are beautiful. In the port we took a taxi which takes ida $10 usd per person and is recommended to coordinate with it to make it happens to pick you up later. The price of return usually is the same. Do not charge by going to this beach. Although we pay you to a villager for rent us a few lounge chairs and a few umbrellas. The sea is a little strong for the little ones, but with appropriate monitoring pass it very well. The bathrooms are mobile and have a place to cook food and sell drinks. We decided on this beach because the more recommended is Orient Beach, it has a nudist part and went with minors. It also caught my attention Maho Beach where you are touching the planes that come to this island, since our intention was to rest and forget about the city and its noise. Mullet Beach is 1 Km from the airport and the planes are landing, but you don't have the annoying noise of the turbines.

  • I went here for the first time last August 8, 2016. This is perhaps the most beautiful beach of the Caribbean. Located near Maho, the beach is very wide and stop boats for excursions. The sea is just gorgeous. Crystal clear water. Beach spotless. A paradise of nature. Will definitely be returning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
