  • Beautiful & lush, awesome view of Marigot. Hard to believe this place was once a sugar plantation. We paid $1 USD for the local bus from Marigot, which dropped us off just a short hike 15 min to entrance, ask the bus driver to drop you off at Pic Paradis Road. There is usually a local street food vendor across from where you will be dropped off by bus, if your on a budget, I recommend filling up before you get the farm/sanctuary. Please look for air bnb host Gilles, his comfortable home hotel Valois was a perfect for us and nearby this attraction, he has bus stop at his door step that will take you here in about 6- 10 minutes. We decided to walk back from the farm at the end of day so we could take photos along the road and we managed back in about 30-40min, it took this long because we stopped several times for photos.. The farm also has a restaurant and cafe which is very expensive, paid $9 for an espresso, but it's proceeds go to maintain this protected nature reserve , so I do not mind paying the extras here. because of the price of cafe, we wished we would have brought some snacks. The staff is very nice, all smiles and good service. We did not zip line , but we did do the 2 hour hike with no regrets. We saw amazing little creatures, lizards, flying metallic blue beetles with orange antennas, all sorts of birds, including hummingbirds that are almost mistaken for butterflies, and so many different butterflies and moths we almost lost count, some as big as birds. We also ran into snails, slugs and a tarantula! Please please bring bug spray and wear long pants , protect your skin as much as possible. The only thing that was unpleasant during our hike , was that we could not stop to catch our breathe on the hike up because every time we stopped, a million fire breathing ants began to naw at our feet!! a pain because it made it hard to take photos. Coming here was a wonderful experience, I hope that this area continues to be protected and everyone who comes here enjoys with respect and care of the land with so much of history behind it.
  • Pefect place to chill for the day with lounge beds around cool,spring-fed pools..Relax to the sounds of the trickling waters and sip a mango margarita while ordering exquisite finger food in the surrounds of the lush forested slopes.. Forget the beaches for a day! ..you wont be disappointed 😎
  • The staff was completely unhelpful at reception. It is 25€ per person to use the pool. We were walking behind a group of "Eco-tourists" who pitched their cigarette butts onto the forest floor- but took their shoes off to enter the pool area. More respectful to the natural surroundings or the expensive pool? You're much better off paying for chairs and lunch on a beautiful beach, not this expensive tourist trap.
  • Took a taxi from the cruise terminal to this wonderful gem. The bar staff was wonderful, excellent frozen drinks at the bar, and the 5 Euro cost for the hiking trails was incredibly inexpensive. We hiked to the most beautiful view of the island, and lucked upon at least 25 monkeys on our way down. If you are visiting the island, make this a priority. But take your bug spray for the trails. Unseen mosquitos got the better of my legs; although my companion was unbitten (I am a bug magnet!)
  • Beautiful natural getaway. You can be active and go zip lining and hiking or be lazy and relax by the pool and enjoy the food, drinks, atmosphere and GREAT staff (Rashid & Sebastian)! Very nice job William!
