  • Well worth seeking out in an otherwise shopping obsessed town. If you are of British origin it is interesting to see another colonising country's (Dutch) view on colonisation/ slavery issues. Lots of interesting stuff here but the information about the Arawaks was particularly good.
  • Liked this little museum. It has displays on island history, including Arawak pottery shards, plantation-era artifacts, period photos and a few itemds from HMS Proselyte, the frigate that sank off Fort Amsterdam in 1801.Visit the little shop downstairs. This sells an assortment of Caribbean arts and crafts. ****
