Explore Pigeon Island National Park to discover an area rich in history and natural beauty. This island was artificially connected to the mainland in the 1970s and has since become a landmark of St. Lucia. Rich in history and occupied by Amerindians, pirates, and the British over the centuries, the island still houses numerous remains of forts, barracks, and other military buildings. Climb to the highest points within the park for panoramic views, look for scenic spots for a picnic, or use one of two sandy beaches to swim, snorkel, and lounge on the tranquil waterfront. • Great hike with amazing views of the Atlantic and Caribbean Oceans and of the island of Martinique. Music was playing and the nearby restaurants had lunch and drinks waiting for after the hike.  more »
  • Spent quite a bit of time on the island. Beautiful old ruins that have been taken care of for future generations. Little cafe where you can get a sandwich and a cold drink. The climb to the old fort c...  more »

  • It was nothing short of amazing! The staff were genuinely helpful and I enjoyed Oktoberfest!
  • Calm water and nice for swimming. Area well protected from the wind. Nice walk up to the remnants of the fort on the hill. Washrooms available.
  • This place is amazing! We provided our DJ services for a wedding and it will just too great!
  • Beautiful views from the top. It's better to have sneakers than flip-flops if you want to explore top of the hill. Entrance ticket fee to national park is 8$ per adult. It's worth to visit, we stayed at Rodney Bay and it's one hour walk - nice walk.
  • Bring good walking shoes. It’s a neat, yet overpriced hike with beautiful and breathtaking views. I must say that the map is not to scale and the experience/hike doesn’t include everything listed. We searched for the caves, but they were nowhere to be found. We encountered other travelers with very similar experiences. Probably would not do again, but it was not a waste of t8me. Happy to contribute to preservation of the rich history of this beautiful island. Not to mention that pirates roamed these forts.....
