(4.7/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web)
Head 985 m (3,232 ft) high as you climb Nevis Peak Hike and reward a difficult hike with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, and a carpet of lush green rainforest below. Climb up through a dry humid forest at lower levels, followed by a rainforest, and finally a cloud forest toward the top. • It is amazing to walk through the forest that has grown up over the last fifty to seventy years. The walk is challenging enough to enjoy.  more »
  • Interesting but not within the reach of all activity. We appealed to a guide and I would suggest to the uninitiated to do. The rise is a good exercise for cardio. In fact, at times, looks more to climbing only to hike. There are several roots, branches and ropes to make everything safe. Unfortunately for us, we were through the clouds then no view, which seems to be the case most of the time for the top of Nevis. It is rather on the way down that we liked least. It is essential to hold back most of the time by the strings and exercise can be dangerous. We dropped several times without serious consequence. I had injuries to the hands for days after. One thing is sure, you wouldn't get out of there Immaculate, our clothes were covered with mud.
