(3.9/5 based on 90 reviews on the web)
Immerse your body in hot volcanic water and soothe your muscles at Bath Hotel and Spring House. Heated by a dormant volcano, it is said that the water possesses healing powers. On the grounds, find the Spring House, which dates back to the 18th century. The two story masonry structure was built from hand cut stone. Inside are five thermal baths, fed from water located beneath the base of the house. The water temperature ranges from 40 C (104 F) to 42 C (108 F). Outside, a small thermal pool sits amongst rocks in the shade, strategically placed to help maintain its temperature. • We stopped at the Bath House on a tour of the Island. The attendant was very knowledgeable and friendly. The water is truly warm. There are towels provided for a $1 charge.
  • Of passing interest as a curiosity but not tempted to bath! The site is the size shown in the picture and the water is very hot and not particularly pristine!
