The Circus, Basseterre
(1.5/5 based on 110 reviews on the web)
Head to the heart of Basseterre and get a feel for the buzz of the town at The Circus. A common meeting place among locals, the area is made up of a traffic circle and a tall green clock and fountain in the center. The clock, erected in 1883, stands proudly as one of the major landmarks of the area. The small square acts as a good starting point to see the rest of the town. Put The Circus and other Basseterre attractions into our Basseterre tourist route planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • This was part of our tour and we mainly just drove around it while our driver told us about the town. I wouldn't make this a destination stop - a drive by was fine.
  • Is a mandatory place for photos because it's located in a place near the port where traffic is confusing especially for us Brazilians that we're not used to the hand. Worth having a guide to tell you about the history of the island.
