Where to stay in Yala National Park

Most visitors to Yala National Park opt to stay in the town of Tissamaharama. Located just outside of the park itself, the town caters exclusively to tourists, with a wealth of accommodations to choose from, including hostels, luxury hotels and resorts, and eco-lodges. Further to the south, and closer to the park entrance, you'll get a bit more of a secluded feel from the accommodations, with private lodges and campgrounds available. Many accommodations will try and get you to take their private safari of Yala National Park, although you are perfectly entitled to shop around for the safari that suits you.
