  • Good place to visit. Accomdation facilities are available for visitors. But should be improved more. Prices of the sales outlets are too high. There wheel drivers who hire at the place are careless about the commuters as well as their passengers lives. Better to avoid taking three wheelers to go up and down. If possible better to walk up and down when u come in a bus.

  • According to the ancient stories, Ramboda is a area, where the forces of Rama's gather to fight against King Ravana. This temple was built by the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka and dedicated to Hanuman. This temple houses for 16 feel height statue of Hanuman. The temple is located on hill with serene surroundings and Chinmayananda Mission library and accommodations for living built around the temple. Right in the middle of nature, the tranquil environment brings any mind to a quiet meditative level. The God's Pooja is done in a unique way! Instead of one aarti. Poojari uses several different aartis including one with copper... This temple is located on the way to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. The temple premises is huge and located on a hill. An excellent vegetarian thali, cooked and served by the Tamilian ladies who are followers of the Chinmaya Principle. food is fresh, the restaurant over looks wood apple trees , the hills in the distance and excellent South Indian Saapad. The women serve you hot rice, rasam and a simple meal. It is a nice temple. Even for people who are just passing by should drop by specially for the restaurant.
