  • Best place to buy gifts! Purchased all good tea, because that still carry friends from Sri Lanka! Costs-Bob 5 packs by 200-4000rupij. Quite imagine gulls. There is a free tasting and a tour of the factory. But the most beautiful-tea plantations on the way here and more!

  • 包装蛮有皇家风范,送人有面子。味道我喝什么都差不多。价格是所有牌子中最贵的,据说水果茶都是香精,所以还是只买红茶的好。
  • We have received a smaller leadership by an employee of the factory. Since it was Sunday, we haven't seen much of the processing process. The complimentary tea and cake were delicious. But it seemed us Mackwoods is somewhat too popular and on tourists, and it probably would have been something personal in smaller factories.

  • There are guided tours every 15 mins to take you around the factory and explaining the process of tea making. There is a cafe right outside the tea factory where one  can taste different flavours of tea from the house of Mackwood. Another attraction is a viewing deck from where one can have the panoramic view of the estate.
  • Loving atmosphere. Delicious sri lankan tea for a very cheap prce. clean latrine facilities. (washrooms n toilets)
  • Lovely drive to Mackwoods and great views once you arrive. The tea tasting was free, but limited. Only 3 types of tea available for tasting or buying a cup of. If you want to try the green tea, flavored tea, or infusions you have to buy it in bags/boxes from the shop. Great experience for lovers of tea and views.
  • The tea centre itself at Mackwoods was quite nice. Modern facilities & comfortable conditions. Nice for a break & a sit down.
  • Brief tour, but we learnt all that we wanted. A free cup of lovely tea was then provided, and very cheap chocolate cake (rs80). There was no pressure to buy anything and it was a very well maintained factory
