Lover's Leap Falls, Nuwara Eliya

(3.9/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Hear the roar as masses of water crash down into the pool below at Lover's Leap Falls. Take a half-hour hike along the river to the top of the falls, and admire the tea plantations along the way. Ask a local guide to help you navigate the path, which can get steep and slippery at times. When you get to the top, take a moment to absorb all you see--the falls, the surrounding nature, and the breathtaking view of the town beneath you. Make sure you visit during the rainy season, as the falls lose their water during the dry season. Work out when and for how long to visit Lover's Leap Falls and other Nuwara Eliya attractions using our handy Nuwara Eliya travel itinerary planner.

  • Easy stroll into the fields of tea with at the end a very pretty waterfall. To do with the visit of the factory of tea in front.

  • If you do bring the tuk tuk will throw them without making the entire walk from the Pedro tea factory, in January the water flow and little, however it is beautiful to walk through the tea plantations. Coloring books and crayons had brought to be given to underprivileged children and here would be the right time, here we saw the children of collectors of te from which would be surely appreciated in our opinion.

  • The falls are beautiful and it has a nice history behind. But to be of drought the truth that left much to be desired. It more advisable is the road to the falls, best walk, avoid tuc tuc.
