Take a relaxing stroll through the immaculately maintained hilly terrain of Hakgala Botanic Gardens. Of the 10,000 species planted here, the large collection of various orchids and roses remains the most notable. Large crowds arrive here on the weekends, making for good people-watching, while weekdays offer some peace and quiet. • After all these years and numerous visits, the park still feels fresh. And the cool windy environment, spacious area and the flora and fauna can catch your mind and soul. The park seems little less maintained. But the sanitary and other options have improved. Now the park has a reasonably priced buggy drive throughout the park for you and your team. Little parking available but there are guys to charge you with a ticket even-though you have parked along the road 500m from park.
  • Nice view. Cheap entrance fee. Beautiful flowers, bushes and variety of plants. To travelling inside there is a cart service that better to book early. You can feel the smell of flowers in some areas. Navigation boards every where, also the maps. Inside there is a cafeteria and a plant shop. Pleasant feeling in cool environment. Will not let you bring polymer items (that will trough away)to inside.
  • A beautiful botanical gardens. It was nice to walk around enjoying the view. I would recommend hiring the golf cart for 1000 Rs if you dont feel like walking, especially if it is too hot. I especially liked the rose garden and the Arboretum. We also stumbled across some monkeys.
  • Wonderful garden with trees of all around the world. Huge area with lot of space flowers and trees.. 60 rupees for a local 1500 rupees for a foreigners... I totally disagree with that, foreigners shouldn’t pay much!!
  • Good place to visit with kids and family. If ur age more than 60 then u will get discounted price. Please take ur ID to prove. Maintenance by government is okay but not perfect. Even people should consider to care nature.Someones spoil trees and flowers..
