  • One of the few attractions on Sri Lanka without entrance fee. You will be taken care of by a supervisor you have with the various parts something tells in poor English. It is not very large, but very very nice to see. After the tour is a small (voluntary) donation requested.

  • A fort built by Dutch in 1765, and was originally called Redoute Van Eck. this was built to a unique shape of a six pointed star with space for 12 large cannons to cover approaches from all directions
  • It was built in 1640 by the Dutch. It is one of the best star forts, and unique star fort in Sri Lanka.
