  • Very good to visit, large to give yourself some time to be able to review the whole fort. Well worth a visit, just be careful if you have small children as there are some rather high drop points.
  • You don't need to drive, but if you are then you should stop by in Matara to look. The fort is in good condition. Inside is to find some information about the history and there are some archaeological finds. Admission is free, but you will be urged to make a donation.

  • You can drop by for a couple of minutes. At the entrance of the moat, which float crocodile with turtles. Especially look out for nothing but inside at the entrance stood the English speaking guide-Indian. When our ignorance of history GONE and Council in particular was interesting to talk with him. Donations he you will, don't worry))
