  • Tallest water fall in srilanka,Amazing view About 4km to the ticket counter from Kalupahana junction. Better to travel using small vehicles (car, van).Small single door buses can also go but it is really difficult and will block the road
  • This is highest waterfall in the Sri Lanka. Just 4 km from kalupahana junction. Nice view mainly in rainy season and on dry season there’s small water flow. The road is narrow and go with van, small lorry, small buses safely. Then you have to buy tickets to visit waterfall and you can go very close to the fall and there is safe watching area for visitors. And can bath safely. But very close to the waterfall which water falling place is very depth and be safe. Very clean place and you have to keep clean this place for future. And behind the waterfall you have road to visit top of the waterfall but little difficult journey.
  • Safe for bathing. Very cold water, sudden rise of water level can be happen. No changinging rooms. You can safely go to the bottom of the waterfall when there is not much water.. you should travel about a 1 km from parking. should bought tickets from the entrance.. not recommend for elderly people
  • You can camp near the fall if you want.... Try it... Great memories. There is a another fall called Lanka Ella . To see it you gonna have to reach the opposite side of the mountain... Local people know the way, ask them.... I also add it to maps. Good luck... ❤🔥
  • Sadly this waterfall has seen far more than it's share or visitors. If you are in search of a wilderness experience - this may not be worth the visit anymore. Too much concrete pathways to cater to the general public. A few years ago this was a pristine place but now the magic is no more.
