  • My personal highlight! We are pilgrimage early December up the mountain. Since this was still out of season, there were no lights. On the way upwards a few have opened but already able, so that you could enjoy with tea and small snacks. The monks had already been raring to get a donation. Since the rise of costs nothing else (in contrast to the other entrance fees) you can donate a little something and it picked up a blessing. You can also bypass the first monks, in which you run the left way past. We are at about 2:15 with flashlights (in the place you can buy for 300 rupees) started to be there just in time for the Sunrise, what time very well worked. We were rewarded with a great sunrise. With breaks and images, we were back at 9 o'clock at the guesthouse. Promotion and relegation are really exhausting, but definitely doable! Nevertheless we have had three days still aching muscles in the calves then :) Who plans a Little Adams peak, so short that even Horton Plains, Ella Rock on his further tour should may be thinking about a massage. Delhouse is perfect place, to climb the mountain. At the entrance, there are a few tea estates, you can also visit if you arrive earlier. Take necessarily warm clothes during the ascent, because it can get above cold.
