  • Found this little place for sea turtles only 900 meters from the Mount Lavinia hotel along the beach. On-the-spot gets the submitted turtles from fishermen's nets, which may have lost limbs and these animals will be allowed to stay until they can be returned to the sea, and if not possible, so they live on site. They also reject eggs and turning out the small turtles. When we were there, there was no other so we got the Grand Tour, without haste and with a very enthusiastic host, think it was him who runs the place, and he told a lot about their work with the turtles and how they got the greatest number of spawned small turtles exposed in the ocean. We ended the visit with each putting a turtle free beach and view the flap out into the waves. Definitely worth a visit and we gave only about $25 to get in, one could then donate additional amount if we felt like there was nothing about this sales pressure or attempt to sell other things to us.

  • Resting at Ranveli Beach Resort, my husband met with the Lebanese themselves, which is well spoken. Yourself invited us to visit the farm for turtles. We went through the mount Lavinia hotel, on the shores of ocean kilometres an hour and a half. It was still early, we went on the tour immediately after breakfast, but given the heat, what stands out in this region, the path does not seem to us. But how much elation at seeing turtles of different sizes and colors! Turtles get good people affected by predators in the ocean. There are big turtles without any fin, there are bugs, which are entangled in the nets of fishermen. And there are very tiny bugs, which hatch from eggs, Zakopane in the sand on this farm. The family contains its large economy on donations and income from the sale of admission tickets cost 500 rupees. I got to hold the average turtle in his hand, feed the turtle leader fish. The leader because it did not allow other turtles take the proposed fish. And ended our excursion in ocean releasing little bugs, which waved us on prshhanie lastoj and left himself in the Indian Ocean.
