Pettah, Colombo

Categories: Flea Markets, Shopping
Inspirock Rating:
3/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web
Head for an authentic local shopping experience at Pettah. Make your way through the labyrinth leading between the countless tents where local merchants sell their goods. The flea market is more suitable for those who enjoy a more intense shopping experience. It gets quite crowded; however, you can expect to purchase items for a much lower price than in stores. Browse everything from precious gems and gold to fruits and vegetables. To visit Pettah and other attractions in Colombo, use our Colombo trip generator.

  • A market stretching across many streets. Must you have ever seen. However, there are not so much stuff for tourists, as many are not sooo here. More household goods and food in large quantities. E.G. garlic in 30kg sack. But nice about it to run. We have bought a watch for € 2.50 and some fruit and tomatoes. Clearly you love paying tourists but the speeches are not nearly as severe as in other countries. And the prices are okay. You didn't overdo it. To do this, you need to know but some prices. And the good news is, that many large price tags on their goods have, so can not you kidding :) are There are rather few tourists
