  • Must visit.Great place to acquire historical knowledge. well maintained. In here you could see preserved artifacts which Leeds to preserve the country's history. When I read some reviews Some have stated this is only museum in Sri lanka its completely wrong. There are so many.
  • Entry fee of 600 for adults. It's expensive in my opinion for what you see. If you're into historical stuff is not that bad
  • Set in a colonial era building, this museum presents many artefacts for the viewing of visitors. A modest entry fee is asked, but it is well worth it. Items from the many periods in Sri Lankan history are on display along with paintings and clothes from those times. The buildings are not air-conditioned but fans provide some relief from the heat outside. Museum publications are available for purchase as you exit. Recommended.
  • Very usefull and knowledgable place
  • History of Sri Lanka. Some Galeries are refurbished but the others are badly maintained.
