Cargills Department Store, Colombo
(1.3/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
See the Victorian red-brick facade of Cargills Department Store, where you can find a range of products at reasonable prices. Browse through clothes, footwear, cosmetics, homewares, and even groceries at the large store. During the British colonial era, colonists used to buy supplies and luxury products at the department store, giving them a taste of home. Observe the visual juxtaposition between new and traditional architectural styles as you compare the department store to the modern buildings around it. Put Cargills Department Store and other Colombo attractions into our Colombo itinerary builder, and watch your holiday take shape.
