  • My favourite shop in Colombo! Gorgeous hand-loomed cotton and silk fabrics that you can purchase either as pieces of fabric or made into a variety of homewares, clothing and toys. Lots of other interesting things to buy too including jewellery, bags and baskets, books, local coffee and of course tea, and fantastic aromatherapy products. The courtyard cafe which has a restroom, a smoking section and serves light meals, snacks, tea, coffee, beer and juices. You can pay with cash or credit card and the shop assistants are helpful but don't hassle you to buy at all. Prices may be considered steep by some but I consider them to be worth it as the products I've purchased there are excellent quality.
  • I loved the meal here! I'd give a 5/5 for food, service and the ambience but their prices are little bit on the high side. If you're looking for a quality night out this is the place for you.
  • The perfect gift store with high quality stuff from Sri Lanka. Everything is handmade therefore be ready for higher prices. The designs are beautiful though!
  • Lovely atmosphere. Food is ok if not anything to write home about. Gets crowded in the weekend. Shopping-wise, there are some really bargain finds on books at times but the rest of it is generally overpriced (but apparently at her right balance for the tourists!). Maybe the quality and novelty of the merchandise warrants (a major portion) of the price.
  • Great place to meet friends and relax. The store at the front, has something for everyone. The house jazz band adds to the lazy Sunday-afternoon ambience.
