  • You cant access the light house only walk around it. But the beach there is nice and you can have boat rides and stuff there too. So plan more if you want to visit. otherwise not worth it.
  • Very historical, we couldn't climb up as it was a holiday with hordes of people around. If parking could be arranged, it would sure be helpful
  • Do not understand how he can stand and even more amazing work there inside, it smells deadly, you save something to see the view but very little, no!

  • Really nice. The park nearby is one of the best places to relax in the dusk. Located near the Batticaloa bar mouth. Boat seevices are there to take you around Batticaloa lagoon and also to the Bone island nearby. During low tide seasons you can even take a guided walk to bone lsland from this place.
  • One of best place to have fun 😀😀 in batticaloa.
  • It should be called Batticaloa Lighthouse than its local name Mugaththuvaram Lighthouse.
  • There is a children park. And place to sit and relax.can take boating trips.
