On a tour of the estate--ranked among the very largest in the world--you'll see the intricate process of tea production, and enjoy a sip or two as you learn about the plantation's history. Another tea estate we thought but we were really glad we decided to come here. You are taken by tuk tuk and given an individual tour of the plantation and given a great cup of tea along the way. You.... more »
Although this is a free place to visit, it is not useful to visit there. 1) Actually this is situated in Down South, therefore the climate is not good for a quality product. - the best Ceylon tea... more »
Beautiful white tea plantation. There's a guided tour which it's free of charge (which you're often reminded) which is quite informative and includes tea sampling and a cake :-) after that you have a chance to buy some products which is kind of unexpectedly very relaxed with no hard selling. You can also give a tip for the personals working here which should get divided among everyone.. really nice place to visit, best on a motorbike since the roads around have very little traffic and a beautiful countryside.
Good experience. They explain the process of making tea. You can taste all the varieties and find what you like. Good quality tea.
The owners of our apartments recommended this place. The excursion around the property is good and free. The tea is nice - you can select any of a few dozens during the degustation. Worth visiting
The best explanation about tea processing, good tea tasting opportunity to select the products.
Interesting tour of gum and tea plantation. Great selection of high quality tea.
