History of firefighters in Zaragoza, very informative, interesting and fun. We went through it on our own. The bombreos of the entrance very attentive. There are models, exhibition of old vehicles, various uniforms of firefighters, children's room, cartoon, trucks and other vehicles to climb, Ponte vests, helmets,... and touch it all! Experiences and information of real tragic cases like the fall of a bus to the Ebro in the well of San Lázaro, the fire in the hotel Melia... Adapted for carts and wheelchairs. Every first Sunday of the month admission is free. Upon leaving we contemplate in showcases several representations of fire, accidents,... Highly recommended to go with children.

It's a little hard to find but well worth finding. Firefighters inside are friendly and helpful and the Museum is simple but made with passion. In addition children can climb on emergency vehicles or wear helmet and vest and feel firefighters for a day. I recommend it especially to families.

The visit was great and the firefighter who guided us through the friendly Museum. Very instructive everything and representations in miniature of the performances are great.

  • A wonderfully gracious Spanish bombero gave us a guided tour of the museum, and he was forgiving of our clumsy attempts at discourse. We went into the museum expecting the boys to be able to admire the various fire trucks at their own pace, but what we got was a detailed, 90-minute tour of la historia de los bomberos de Zaragoza. It was enjoyable, to be sure, but I don’t think the boys got much out of the history lesson (which, again, was delivered in a language they don’t speak).
  • Haven't actually visited the museum but there are Spanish courses held here by the University of Zaragoza which are a solid 4 stars.
  • This museum is really cool and has lots of different fire trucks of all the centuries and very interesting information.
  • Worthwhile fire brigade museum with an amazing selections of old trucks and models
  • A fantastic and very didactic Museum. This is run by staff of the fire brigade and the treatment is outstanding. Recommended tour it without a doubt. The kids, at the end, are vehicles for test ride as well as some material. It's worth much.

Where to stay in Zaragoza

When visiting this historical city, most visitors opt to stay in the old quarter, or Casco Viejo, for its convenient proximity to many of the city's iconic landmarks and compact network of local eateries, shops, and traditional architecture. The old quarter is located along the Ebre River meaning that you are only a scenic waterfront stroll away from the rest of the city's buzzing neighborhoods. Several newer hotels are located in the commercial zone centered around Gran Via, one of the city's main arteries, where plenty of shops and well-known restaurants line the buzzing streets. Alternatively, head to the University district for a mix of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and a vibrant nightlife, where accommodation tends to be a bit cheaper.
