Monasterio de Piedra, Zaragoza
(4.6/5 based on 2,400+ reviews on the web)
Discover picturesque landscapes at Monasterio de Piedra, a tranquil and scenic park that surrounds a partially ruined ancient monastery. Its deep, reflective lakes, caves, lush forest, and waterfalls, including one over 50 m (164 ft) high, make it an oasis in an otherwise arid area of Spain. Listen to birds singing and try to spot the native deer, rabbits, and boars. Head to the monastery, founded in 1194, and learn how the first piece of chocolate made in Europe was created there. Some of the paths in the park are tricky and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. • We did not expect us something and it surprised us a lot. Did Park travel approximately a two-hour quiet step and recreating ourselves in every corner and making photographs because it is something that is worthwhile. A few wonderful landscapes following the route of the water. Then we did a guided 45 minutes by the monastery as

  • For twenty years, we still going every year in the month of December, but this year, I'm afraid it was the last, the address of the Park he has been loading it, it seems as if the visitor get them, we tend to go in December because there are fewer visits, and can be seen better all the environment, and also as I usually go with older relatives , I could Park close to the entrance, but it turns out that this year, visits parking employees, have caught it and visits sent them superlejos to a full of holes and not parking this conditioning or for elderly or disabled people, and lately they have caught a staff that not is where you have got it, desgradable poorly educated and Fulton to visits

  • In autumn it is beautiful, with all the change of leaf trees and the damp environment. You have to dress warmly and take care when some stairs climb up certain areas, because you can fall... But the scenery is unsurpassed. A time beautiful to visit it.

  • We had an absolutely stunning experience here and recommend it to everyone who is fit enough to navigate the sometimes steep slopes. The waterfalls are a sight to behold and are a photographer's dream.
  • Precioso lugar, recomendable para visitar.
  • Nice place in Spain where you can rest and enjoy the nature in a beautiful environment where you will find lakes and waterfalls which are fed by the "Rio Piedra". Service is really good and kind. The only bad point are taxes and money. You will spend more than you think.
  • Se paga por andar
  • Muy bonito y muy caro
