Catedral del Salvador de Zaragoza, Zaragoza
(4.5/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
The site of La Seo has held many buildings—from a Roman Forum, to a visigothic church, to a mosque, and now the current cathedral. A work of many centuries, the cathedral exemplifies many different architectural styles from Romanesque to Gothic. Walk through the vast chamber and watch the light streaming through the stained glass windows. Take a look at over 20 chapels, each with a unique style, along the walls of the interior. Climb the stairs to the second floor for the tapestry museum, with some pieces dated to the 13th century. Our Zaragoza trip builder makes visiting Catedral del Salvador de Zaragoza and other Zaragoza attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • We were lucky to get into the Cathedral in Zaragoza City day-this is the day of the entrance to the Cathedral is free. At the entrance we immediately warned that the photograph cannot be. Sorry, of course, but the camera still will not be able to convey the beauty of the Cathedral as a whole and each of the chapel. A mixture of styles, religions, colours and materials amazes and delights. Cathedrals of Zaragoza are distinguished by their style. On these lands for centuries trying to get Christians to Muslims. Imagine that Christian churches built by builders-Muslims who brought their culture, their experience, their skills. As intricately and intricately blended mosaic of East and West sculptures! Do not tell, is worth a trip yourself and see. The uniqueness of spectacle guaranteed.

  • When speaking of Zaragoza always thought in Pilar, stately both outside and inside. On the other side of the square, La Seo, is that on the outside may pass unnoticed, but when you go into it discover the unimaginable! By inside is stately, powerful and with great value artistic. Only charge 4 € for entry, including the rooms of tapestries.
