  • If you're very religious, it is necessary to go visit him. It has many paintings by goya and Velázquez, and also legends and curiosities

  • Huge Cathedral. Great to visit. Really beautiful and great to take photos from the other side of the river.
  • Very strong pilgrimage destination. Excellent atmosphere with small children taken by a young priest to pay homage to and be seen by the Madonna.
  • Very beautiful church, entire city was for me a positive suprise during the tour around Spain!
  • A cathedral design style and architecture I have not seen too often, especially with the lovely colours on the roof tiles. The interior is decorated very nicely, although there is too much bright light coming inside from the windows that makes looking at the paintings very difficult.
  • Amzing cathedral designing. Worth to visit

Where to stay in Zaragoza

When visiting this historical city, most visitors opt to stay in the old quarter, or Casco Viejo, for its convenient proximity to many of the city's iconic landmarks and compact network of local eateries, shops, and traditional architecture. The old quarter is located along the Ebre River meaning that you are only a scenic waterfront stroll away from the rest of the city's buzzing neighborhoods. Several newer hotels are located in the commercial zone centered around Gran Via, one of the city's main arteries, where plenty of shops and well-known restaurants line the buzzing streets. Alternatively, head to the University district for a mix of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and a vibrant nightlife, where accommodation tends to be a bit cheaper.
