Ascensor del Pilar, Zaragoza

(4.2/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Admire 360-degree views of Zaragoza and the Ebro River from Ascensor del Pilar. An elevator takes you to the base of the spire. Then you'll climb a short staircase to the top, where on a clear day, you can see all the way to the distant peaks of the Pyrenees. Look out over the bright green, yellow, and blue chevron tiles of the church roof and its many spires pointing towards the heavens. Below, watch the deep green Ebro flow past. • The city and the River Ebro with the flow that goes up and down collecting the water can be seen from the elevator.

  • Elevator access to the river side of the Basilica of our Lady of Pilar. Is charged the value of 3 euros per person for access. Works of the 14 and 10 of 16 the 18 hours. The elevator is really fast and makes you a first level to 75 metres above. Then you can climb the stairs to access the top of the dome. Is very worthwhile.

  • Did not know the existence of this lift from where to enjoy an excellent panoramic view of the city. Not recommended foggy days

  • Best place to oversee the city
  • The climb up the Tower of the Cathedral is well worth the expense of pennies. The view is gorgeous and I recommend you go there around sunset when the grazing light illuminates the roofs of Zaragoza in a particular way.

  • Dirty glass and low visibility. You agredeceria control in access, in the circle above us came together almost 15 people and there were discussions among tourists. It is worth climbing, but you depend on visitors who around you to be educated.
