  • A castle whose visit you leaves absolutely indifferent while to difference of others is can go in its entirety. Not I mean to if them remains are best or worst preserved because are that the course of the time us have left but to the absence of references historical, some type of guide or posters that document what is what are stepping on, them different stages of its history etc. Is a paseo cold and soulless that disappoint to the visitor especially if comes from visit the Cathedral, just to the side. And that that is the few walled enclosures that I can remember with its moat intact and that, with a little imagination, you could make your visit an unforgettable experience especially for the little ones.

  • An interesting fortress in Zamora. The fortress is quite ancient (11-12 century), its appearance is impressive, but inside it is not particularly interesting. Entrance is free of charge. From the walls of the fortress offers a nice view of the city.

  • As such of the castle building would need some reform, but okay, I recommend visiting it. In addition the entry is free and from above you can see beautiful views of the city of Zamora, very nice Zamora from that point of view.

  • The castle is free to enter and is the end point of a nice historical walk through Zamora. As castles go it is fairly average, but they have made the castle as accessible as possible with new walkways. There are good views over the surrounding area from the towers. Surrounding the castle is a nice park with sculptures, where you can rest in the shade for a while.
  • Worth to be visited. Well restored.
  • Amazing place and amazing landscape.
  • Precioso, tranquilo y con unas vistas impresionantes.
  • Fantastic ruins tour route set up with care. To visit to take some nice photos at a medieval monument.
