  • The Basilica of San Prudencio in Armentia, Alava is a special place in the heart of Vitoria and Alava. There is venerated Alava pattern all the 28 April is celebrated a mass procession in his honour. The temple itself is a sign of the Romanesque period. Strong walls, few openings for the lighting but beautiful in its simplicity.

  • Unforgettable summer days, much better if coincides with the feast of our Patron SAN PRUDENCIO or the day of ARMENTIA. And if not any season of the year a trip from the city to see and enjoy with the possibility of a visit to the Basilica and as not an aperitif and even food in your cider and the famous mansion.

  • Basilica declared historic-artistic monument of national interest on June 4, 1931 and enjoys special protection, while I milestone of the Basque branch of the Camino de Santiago, by a resolution of the Basque Government of February 11, 2000. Awesome its portico, one of the most important of his time. It can be accessed easily to skating.

  • Often the gantry access gate is closed (usually it open for the masses). If so, stretch the neck to see from outside the sculptural group that is on the other side. It has things from the 13th century to the 18th century and is impressive.
